Yes you can ask someone to place a bet for you, you can even use their account with their permission. The trouble comes when you knowingly and wilfully break the law by residing in a State that prohibits gambling bonuses, and you take advantage of that bonus purporting to be someone else, living somewhere else. That's the law breaker there, and if a bookie decides he's had enough of you and he's lost money to you, watch out!
