Second favourite Lucas Cranach reported coming along nicely
Niggling trouble with a foot abscess previous prep, now things have been 100% right
On track for the St George Stakes Feb 25th before he goes on to the Australian Cup

Default Sangster

Victoria Derby winner Sangster who is set to resume in the G1 Waikato Draught Sprint (1400m) at Te Rapa this Saturday is very unlikely to start in this race
Trainer Trent Busuttin is expected to confirm Sangster’s program after Saturday’s run

Early days for Sangster this time around
Mufhasa gallant in defeat,,trapped 3 wide throughout the race without cover
Sprinter-miler Veyron a worthy winner on the day
