Just had a look at the teams and the splits from the heats. The USA went without their 3 fastest swimmers in the heat and they can probably improve dramatically tonight. Their 1st leg was a disappointing 49.93. Jason Lezak will probably do at least 1 1/2 seconds better than that for a start, and with the addition of Crocker and Phelps, I'm almost certain the US will break the world record. The only question is how fast can the South africans go?

Never rely on Channel 7. Use this website:
http://www.athens2004.com/ Click on the sport you want on the right side of the screen, then scroll down to the day you want and ALL the events and results are there. You just have to remember to add 7 hours for Australian time. |

Yeah i found that site a few days ago[ i posted it just before you ,hehe ]but it was easier to watch the telly.
