Even with the Modified Kelly those under the $3 were dragging the profit down.
It didnt matter whether the TC were wet or dry in that regard.

Great to hear your doing well. It's always interesting to hear about other punters experiences when backing horses at the shorter end. For me personally in terms of the horses that I back, the shorter priced favourites (especially those that SP odds on) perform better than market expectations not only in terms of their strike rate but also they are a significant contributor to my overall profits. Perhaps that's because my ability to isolate the right horses (those that have a profile that is undervalued by the market) which in turn means that the prices I'm able to secure are for the most part well above SP.
