Brett Prebble recently rode his 800th winner in Hong Kong. Only the third jockey to reach that milestone.

Nash Rawiller has been disqualified for 15 months, for having an interest in bets on horses which he rode.

Hong Kong stewards have imposed two separate 15 month disqualifications for each guilty finding, but ruled the penalties be served concurrently.

Sands 12th June 2018 07:51 AM

Tommy Berry has decided not to renew his Hong Kong riding licence and will return to Sydney racing for the new season.

Interesting to see what Nash does at the end of the ban. Back in the saddle? Where? Always had trouble with his weight. Long layoff certainly won't help.

NZ-breds doing well in Honkers
Victories in six of the 24 stakes races

Yep NZ-bred
Original purchase price was around $60K NZD
Not a bad investment!

Sands 28th August 2018 08:26 AM

Very good investment from what I can see kiwiz
Listed as winning $41,930,720. Most of that is HK$ but still a big purse after conversion. 22:9-3-4

Failed a written test,,in English,,on horse racing in Japan & its history
Had he passed it,,he would then have faced an oral test in Japanese
Sounds a bit over the top to me!
Can’t resit the tests for a year

Placid Ark 14th November 2018 11:04 AM

So, back to Hong Kong?
