Olivier Doleuze & Gerald Mosse withdrew their applications for a further licence

Doleuze will take an extended break from riding in an endeavour to rectify a problem with his right shoulder in order to hopefully prolonging his riding career

Mosse is returning to Europe at the conclusion of the current racing season to continue his riding career and with a longer term view to the next stage of his career in racing,,potentially as a trainer

California Chrome has suffered a bruised cannon bone
But won't be retiring as some folk thought
Off for a three month spell
Then he'll be back,,according to trainer Art Sherman

Retiring to stud duties has also been reported

California Chrome was due to run next month in the Arlington Million
Would have been a big ask first up since March

Anyhow, trainer Art Sherman & majority owner Perry Martin don't always agree, from what I read
So watching with interest how things pan

Top effort by Moreira, considering both Zac & Whyte well & truly established with local owners & trainers.
