Still trying to sort out my finals. Phenomenons to start fav again. I've just about given up on him. But the extra distance in his favour. Lovre hasn't raced since the Perth Cup. Great training effort if he can be competitive. Almohad disappointed me a bit last run. Shajezar big run in the T J Smith. Hopefully will all look clearer tomorrow.

Upside, working well, blinkers on, suited under the weight scale.
Downside, will start short, previous first-up form not all that hot, racing against some above average sprinters who are fit.
Likely a no-bet race for me.

A bit of a post-race concern, Steward's report: returned with a minor laceration to near hind fetlock. Let's hope only a minor laceration as stated.

Hopefully nothing serious Hat, that win looked real cushy. So interesting to see it line up in the Goodwood.

So, I guess straight on to the Goodwood

One more run in Perth before the Goodwood. Miss Andretti Sprint (1200m) Saturday week.

From what I can tell the Perth punting fraternity are at logger-heads with regards to what Dante’s Volonte has done so far & his future potential.

One group are basically saying he hasn't beaten much. The other group are saying, he's been running the times & carrying weight.

Time will tell. But have to admit, I'm a little excited!

Yes I've seen that discussion about not being better/better than Scenic Blast. It's a waste of breath getting into that.
We shouldn't forget some other hot sprinters might yet travel to the east hopefully in the Spring. The untapped Vizard, Danny Beau really came on during the summer,
and on his day Dark Target probably beats them all.

Good move imo Kersley opting for the Strickland instead of the Miss Andretti

Probably Hat, but I think Marasco doesn't have much of an opinion of its trainer with the constant switch of distances over the last few starts.
In race 3 I'm hoping Kim Trader gets some luck from that wide gate.

Yeah in with a great chance schonegg. Had same barrier winning last start, so should be ok. Don't mind Escape Velocity. Very impressive last start, although a mid-week.
