Steve's an underrated trainer. Should do ok Sunday. Also running for him are Clunky Hero (R3) Desi & Pricelessuti (R4) Open Eyre (R5) Stark Smith (Cup) & Sand George (R8). Open Eyre & Sand George in particular look to be strong chances.

Can't see any rides for Pike today at Mt Barker. Looking at the jocks who are riding today, Link Robertson could be worth following. Has a pretty strong book for the day ;)

How long is a TAB ticket valid for?

Lotto is valid for 12 months.

Geez, great ew odds Royal Lott! Should have won last start. Others Charlie Beau, Keyton Grace and On Target.

pipedream 12th March 2007 09:47 PM

If Charlie Beau is anywhere near as good as his sister, he should win tomorrow.

That was a gutzy win by Royal Lott, Geez. Nice tip on top, great odds. Peter Hall must now be a great chance to land the big double with Black Tom in tomorrow's cup.

Race 2 - 4 WE WONDER WHY

watsonnek 19th March 2007 04:23 PM

The unraced George Daly trained Vigano did well today, trial at Belmont. Runner-up same trial Galldora also performed well. The latter trained by Neville Parnham placed only 2 race starts at Belmont last Sep.

I see that Hennessy Gold ran the fastest trial of the day in 58.00. Not surprising when you look at the field, would have been an abundance of speed in the heat. Wouldn't get too carried away with the win. Gone good trials before but rarely in recent times has he put it together on race day.

..,,gives him a handy lead in the riders premiership! A natural light-weight with huge potential!

westi 27th March 2007 08:24 AM

The pontiff will need to pull his finger out! Back from injury next month.

Current Premiership Table - top 10

1 W Pike 44.5 wins
2 P Harvey 33.5 wins
3 J Whiting 32 wins
4 J Brown 30 wins
5 Dion Luciani 25 wins
6 S Parnham 22 wins
7 T Turner 21 wins
8 P King 18 wins
9 S Mc Gruddy 17 wins
10 D Staeck 16 wins

westi 27th March 2007 11:52 AM

Looks like Harvey will be back in the saddle this weekend & may even get the nod to ride Jestatune in preferance to Willy Pike who rode Jestatune for his last win!

Good test for the pontiff but I think he can do it. Don't forget Pike's had more than twice as many rides as Harvey!
