There's no doubt that they've ruined this horse mentally by racing it upside down on an unfamiliar surface in the USA.
Was a successful lay for me, as I had flagged it as a lay, but very sad for all concerned with the horse.

Ortensia has now had 30 starts for $1,553,905 earnings. Not bad for a $50K yearling ;)

Melbourne Cup-winning owner Sheikh Fahad has offered to boost his sponsorship of the Sussex Stakes (1600m) on August 1 to STG1 million ($A1.56 million), an increase of STG700,000, to entice the world's two best horses, Frankel & Black Caviar, to Goodwood.

I see that Frankel sustained whats thought to be a minor leg injury when working in Newmarket recently
At this stage unlikely to take part in his planned next start, the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on May 19th

Since been talk that Frankel may now retire but connections saying not the case

So You Think will stand at Coolmore Stud in the Australian spring
He is expected to have one or two more starts before he is retired

Frankel was cleared to return to training after a scan showed no serious damage from a "superficial" leg injury. The unbeaten colt is now back on course to return in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on 19 May following a recent 1400m workout at Newmarket.
