Just read that yesterday Rewilding (having his 1st start since defeating So You Think in the Prince of Wales Stakes) snapped a near fore cannon bone & had to be put down
Shocking luck for connections!

Good news
The Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service has approved pre-export quarantine arrangements at Ballydoyle
So You Think back in oz for this years Cox Plate is now a real goer!

We should know next week if So You Think is to tackle the Cox Plate or the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. The latter race looks more likely from what I've read.

jimbob 30th August 2011 04:02 PM

good luck to him great horse

Connections now talking some other options as well
Trip back to OZ for the Cox looking very distant

kiwiz 9th September 2011 12:50 PM

So You Think no longer listed in my Cox Plate market?

Sands 12th September 2011 08:07 AM

Yeah, wasn't among the 96 second declarations

krk004 19th September 2011 07:44 AM

Anyone know of any good sites that provide tips for SAf, Irish & UK horse racing?

Preferably with 4 tips per race.

I use the TAB site for my Aus, NZ, Sing & HK punting work, but these don't do those mentioned above.

Is there an overseas equivalent that people know of?

Thanks in advance.

Rogan Josh 19th September 2011 03:01 PM

I thought all the oz tabs operated on South Africa, UK & Ireland races, & provide tips?
Not the ones you've ask for krk004, but I find these sites helpful with the other o/s meets.

Thanks for those RJ,

I have checked numerous times on TAB site, but when I have, I haven't seen any tips, even though they have the races available for betting.

FYI - did find this site though;

So just how good is the German 3yo filly Danedream
Won the race by 5 lengths,,the time 2:24.49,,the fastest ever recorded in the Arc

http://50.23.239.34/race/2011_Prix_..._de_Triomphe_G1

Sands 9th October 2011 10:02 AM

She's obviously very good, kiwiz
The Arc has been won by some pretty smart ones
To set a new race record & beat the likes of So You Think easily, has to be history in the making

Sands 9th October 2011 11:08 AM

Wonder if connections of So You Think are now regretting not going for the Cox Plate?
